Hey friends! I’m Shelby, owner of Modern Valley Hair Co! I’ve been an Independent Stylist for 10 years, and behind the chair for 12. I’m a Master Technician with Invisible Bead Extensions and specialize in blondes!
On my time off you can find me hanging out with my sweet family, or drinking a cold beer on a patio with friends. Being a hairstylist has given me the confidence I didn’t know I needed. I cant wait to see you in my chair and become best friends! See you soon!

McKenna, born and raised in Cedar Rapids, lives in Marion with her husband, kids and dog. In 2014 she started her cosmetology career and studied at Aveda in Des Moines.
Over the last decade, she has grown to love embracing her clients natural beauty. Whether you’re a lived in blonde, or a dimensional brunette, McKenna enjoys creating a lived in color that grows out seamlessly, giving YOU the control to decide when you want your hair done!

Hey, I’m Abby! I’ve been behind the chair for 3 years working as an independent stylist.
I’m a brunette but I specialize in blonding services. I love combining techniques to create a custom look for each individual client. When I’m not at the salon you can most likely find me out on the river with my family and dogs! I love a good margarita and the way to my heart is any kind of bread!
